1.       What materials do you use for the bathtub and basin manufacture?

We mainly use two types of materials during production: Solid Surface & Stone Resin.

2.       What’s Solid Surface, and what’s Stone Resin? Can you tell me their difference?

Solid Surface and Stone Rein are considered to be man-made Marble stone, artificial Marble stone, but they have difference in Components.

1)       Stone resin: gel-coat, unsaturated polyester resin, calcium carbonate.

The application of gel-coat is very wide, not only Sanitary ware, like Shipbuilding yachts, lifeboats, patrol boats, etc .; gel coat applications in many industries such as transportation, construction, entertainment, medical equipment housings, billboards, telephone kiosks and security kiosks.

But it is just a coating on the surface, if it is damaged, you will see the material inside, calcium carbonate is relatively rough, and its color is not the same with gel coat, you can only use gel-coat to repair it. The advantage is that its stain resistance will be better than solid surface.

2) Solid surface (Corian): Aluminum Hydroxide, acrylic resin, natural foam resin.

It is everywhere in the construction industry. The solid surface has more smooth touch and durable, since the inside and the outside material is the same, so it’s easier to maintenance in daily life used.

3.       How many percentages of sales for Solid Surface and Stone Resin among your clients?

Solid Surface: 60%; Stone resin: 40%.

Most clients choose matt finish for Solid Surface, and glossy finish for Stone resin.

4.       Why Solid Surface is more expensive than Stone Resin?

Because Solid Surface material is stronger than stone resin, its density is greater, so it is smoother than stone resin. And because the solid surface is stronger, it's more difficult and taking more time to polish the solid surface than stone resin. By the way, the Solid Surface material is similar with Corian, just different in materials composition ratio (Formula).

5.       Will white color Solid Surface/Stone Resin fade to yellow color after we use for long time?

To be honest, it will fade to yellow, because there is ‘resin’ in it, it seems that no enterprise around the world can solve this characteristic of resin, if someone tells you that their product will not turn yellow, that's a liar.

So far, the longest time dealers we cooperate with is from 2008 to the present, there is no such thing as a large-scale complaint of fade yellow, but occasionally there will be 2-3 pieces.

6. How about your Solid Surface and Stone Resin bathtub/basin quality?

We have about 10 years experience in Solid Surface and Stone Resin products, try using a lot of different materials, we have been committed to solve the problem of yellowing of these products, and get good results. We purchased acrylic resin at Lucite International (China) Chemical Industry Co., Ltd from year 2008 to now. That's why our prices are higher than others. We have many clients who we are cooperating with for 6-7 years, but haven't received complaint of yellowing problem. And some of our clients, once they had purchased some cheap solid surface products from other factory, and then they found out the items would turn yellow within one year of usage, so they come to our factory and become our clients.

7.       If the bathtub/basin broken or scratched, how to fix them?

If there’s only a small scratch or break on the bathtub/basin surface, use sandpaper to polish it to smooth. For serious broke problem, it can only be repaired by liquid repair material, which we will supply if necessary.

8.       How many grade of Solid Surface/Stone Resin in your factory that product for sale?

Solid Surface/Stone Resin don’t like ceramic products, if ceramic products have defects, they can not be repaired. But Solid Surface/Stone Resin can be repaired. Therefore, Solid Surface/Stone Resin products only have qualified product or unqualified product.

9.       How long of warranty period you provide for your Solid Surface/Stone Resin products?

Five Years.

10.   The Quality of Solid Surface/Stone Resin in your factory is the same or different from other factories? How and why?

Excellent quality and cheap price is opposite; nothing owns excellent quality and cheap price at the same time.

The quality of raw materials decides the level of cost, and determines the price level, I can tell you that you can find another factory in China which sell a lot cheaper than us, but you may not easy to find one with better quality than us, it’s not only about the material, but also the surface appearance of the product, and the symmetry degree of shape. Our quality inspectors have years of experience and we strictly require that each product be inspected. And we also do very well aftermarket, for customer complaints, will be dealt with immediately. And for old customers, we all support new products for free mold. (1-3 new designs)

11.   Can you engrave our logo on the Solid Surface/Stone Resin products?

Yes, we can.

12.   Can Solid Surface/Stone Resin products be used in outdoor?

I can't tell you our products can be placed outside in a garden, but take care of routine maintenance is essential, because the outdoors is easy to make the product surface dirt, maintaining good if not, it is difficult to remove stains prone. We have a lot of substandard goods placed outside the plant for three years, in addition to dirty, no other damage.

About other situations like snow, freezing cold, difficult for us to give you the exact guarantee, because Foshan is warm weather all year round, no snow, minimum temperature does not fall below 0℃, we can not do the test for a long period of time, and so far, our global customers have not tried to put the bathtub outside of the house. That's why I can't give you the exact guarantee. However, you can help us to do the test, put it outside. If there's any problems with the bathtub (except for dirty), we'll pay you a similar product. HOW ABOUT THAT?

13.   How do I clean and maintain Solid Surface/Stone Resin products?

Use strong detergent, scouring cloth, and water to clean. If these items can not handle the spot, use sandpaper to polish again. For more details, please see attached <Care & Maintenance Manual for Artificial Stone Products>.
